Role Overview
My client is looking for a Senior ERP Implementation Consultant with a strong accounting background and deep experience with Sage Intacct in complex, multi-entity environments. This is a highly client-facing role requiring both technical expertise and commercial awareness.
You’ll be responsible for leading implementations end-to-end, while also acting as a trusted advisor; guiding clients, challenging assumptions, and helping design scalable financial processes within the Sage Intacct ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Sage Intacct implementations from discovery through to go-live
- Facilitate client discussions, gather requirements, and translate them into system design
- Configure Sage Intacct in line with best practices
- Design and implement multi-entity structures, intercompany workflows, and consolidations
- Diagnose and resolve accounting and system issues, including out-of-balance conditions
- Oversee data migration, integrations, and reporting within Sage Intacct
- Deliver training to client teams and provide ongoing advisory support
- Manage timelines and coordinate across internal and client stakeholders
Required Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in accounting, ERP implementations, or financial systems
- Hands-on experience implementing or heavily supporting Sage Intacct
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles (debits/credits, financial statements)
- Experience supporting or owning month-end close
- Solid knowledge of multi-entity accounting, intercompany, and consolidations
- Proven ability to lead client-facing engagements independently
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Sage Intacct Implementation Certification
- Experience working with investment-backed businesses or complex ownership structures
- Exposure to advanced configurations (dimensions, allocations, custom reporting) within Sage Intacct
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent)
