Position Summary:
As the Senior NetSuite Developer, you’ll serve as the lead technical subject matter expert for NetSuite ERP within the organisation. You’ll play a pivotal role in evaluating, architecting, and implementing best practices as the business modernises its systems and scales for growth. Collaboration, continuous improvement, and strong ownership are key to the team culture.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, architect, and implement NetSuite best practices
- Create and manage the implementation roadmap for the platform
- Develop, update, troubleshoot, and maintain code and customisations, including workflows, reports, and scripts
- Manage external development partners, integrations, and vendors
- Act as Product Owner for the platform, working closely with users and prioritising enhancements
- Create custom objects to support business requirements (tables, fields, forms)
- Support the architecture and development of integrations with other applications
- Configure platform behaviour and system controls
- Lead and mentor NetSuite developers to deliver work on schedule
- Partner with Compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Create clear user and technical documentation for customisations
- Promote self-service and platform proficiency across the organisation
- Perform other related duties as needed
Required Skills & Abilities:
- 7+ years of experience implementing and supporting complex NetSuite environments
- NetSuite ERP or Administrator certification
- Working knowledge of multibook, multi-entity, and multicurrency capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and lead development teams within sprint methodologies
- Experience designing and implementing complex integration solutions
- Familiarity with compliance environments and access control tools
- Strong relationship-building skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
